How to Update Mobile Number Linked to Aadhaar Card Online

Updating your mobile number on your Aadhaar card service provided by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). You can do this online only if your current linked mobile number is active (to receive an OTP for verification). If your current number is inactive or lost, you'll need to visit an Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center offline (which may involve biometrics and a nominal fee).

Steps to Update Online:

 -Install Aadhaar app from play store.

 -Register with mobile number(Any Number).

 -Enter 12 digit Aadhaar number and verify your Face, set security pin.

 -Enter home page, click on mobile number update option in services.

 -Then verify old number with OTP, enter new number and verify with OTP.

 -Next complete your face verification.

 -Then check all details carefully and make payment(₹75).

Submit and Confirm:

   - Review the details and submit the request.

   - You'll receive a Service Request Number (SRN) or Update Request Number (URN) on your screen and via SMS/email.

   - The update is usually processed instantly or within 1-2 days. You can check status using the SRN on the same portal.
